Before You Enter

1

Connect Your Wallet

Click “Connect Wallet” and select your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.)
The protocol only requests permission to view your address and approve transactions. Your private keys remain secure in your wallet.
2

Ensure Sufficient Balance

Check you have enough SOL for:
  • Your entry amount (minimum 0.01 SOL)
  • Solana transaction fees (~0.000005 SOL)
Keep a small SOL buffer for transaction fees. Running out mid-race could prevent entry submission.
3

Wait for Entry Phase

Entries can only be submitted during the 120-second entry phase:
  • Green timer: Entries open
  • Red timer: Entries closed, race in progress

Submitting a Single Entry

1

Analyze the Race

Review current race information:
  • Track type: A, B, C, or D
  • Horse probabilities: Win chances for each horse
  • Pool distribution: How much has been entered on each horse
2

Select a Horse

Click on the horse you want to back:
  • Horse card highlights
  • Entry input panel appears
  • Displays horse probability and current pool
3

Set Entry Amount

Type your entry amount in SOL:
Minimum: 0.01 SOL
Maximum: 1000 SOL
The interface shows:
  • Estimated payout range
  • Your share of the horse pool
  • Impact on total pool
Estimated payouts are based on current pool distribution. Final payouts depend on the pool when entries close.
4

Review and Confirm

Check the summary:
Horse: #5
Amount: 10 SOL
Win Probability: 11%
Estimated 1st Place Payout: 85-120 SOL
Click “Enter Race”
5

Approve Transaction

Your wallet prompts for approval:
  • Review transaction details
  • Transaction fee: ~0.000005 SOL
  • Click “Approve”
6

Confirmation

Transaction confirms in 1-2 seconds:
  • Success message appears
  • Your entry is added to the pool
  • Pool distribution updates

Submitting Multiple Entries

You can enter multiple horses in the same race:
Submit entries one at a time:
  1. Enter 5 SOL on Horse #3
  2. Wait for confirmation
  3. Enter 3 SOL on Horse #7
  4. Wait for confirmation
  5. Enter 2 SOL on Horse #1
Pros:
  • See pool updates after each entry
  • Adjust strategy based on changes
  • More control
Cons:
  • Takes more time
  • Multiple transaction fees
  • Pool may change significantly between entries
Most players use sequential entries to maintain flexibility as pool dynamics evolve.

Entry Strategies by Timing

Early Entries (0-40 seconds)

When to use:
  • You have high conviction in a horse
  • Want to place large entries without pool manipulation detection
  • Entering under-priced horses before others notice
Example:
30 seconds into entry phase
Total pool: 2,000 SOL
Horse #6: 4% of pool (80 SOL)
Win probability: 10%

You enter 100 SOL on Horse #6
New pool on #6: 180 SOL (still undervalued)
Risks:
  • Pool can change dramatically
  • Estimated payouts less accurate
  • May want to adjust later (requires a new entry)

Mid Entries (40-90 seconds)

When to use:
  • Most common entry window
  • Good balance of information and time
  • Pool stabilizing but still has time for adjustments
Example:
70 seconds into entry phase
Total pool: 7,500 SOL
Horse #4: 8% of pool (600 SOL)
Win probability: 11%
Value score: 11/8 = 1.375 (fair value)

You enter 50 SOL on Horse #4
Benefits:
  • Better pool visibility
  • More accurate payout estimates
  • Still time for additional entries

Late Entries (90-120 seconds)

When to use:
  • Want maximum pool certainty
  • Experienced player exploiting last-minute inefficiencies
  • Small entries that won’t affect pool
Example:
110 seconds into entry phase
Total pool: 9,800 SOL
Horse #8: 2% of pool (196 SOL)
Win probability: 9%
Value score: 9/2 = 4.5 (excellent value!)

You enter 20 SOL on Horse #8
Risks:
  • ⚠️ Network delays: Transaction might not confirm in time
  • Limited time for multiple entries
  • High pressure decision-making
Never enter in the final 5 seconds! Network congestion can cause transactions to arrive after entries close, resulting in a failed entry.

Managing Active Entries

Viewing Your Entries

Your Entries This Race:
  Horse #3: 10 SOL → Estimated payout: 85-120 SOL
  Horse #7: 5 SOL → Estimated payout: 30-45 SOL
  Horse #1: 3 SOL → Estimated payout: 6-10 SOL

Total Entry: 18 SOL
Potential Return: 121-175 SOL

Entry History

Access past races:
  • Race ID and timestamp
  • Horses entered and amounts
  • Actual results and payouts
  • HORSE tokens earned
  • Jackpot wins

Common Entry Patterns

Hedging Strategy

Back multiple horses to guarantee a win:
Track B Race:
Enter 4 SOL on Horse #1 (18% prob)
Enter 3 SOL on Horse #2 (15% prob)
Enter 3 SOL on Horse #3 (13% prob)

Total: 10 SOL
Combined win probability: 46%
Outcome:
  • 46% chance of winning 1st place payout
  • Guaranteed to lose 54% of the time
  • Reduces variance, lowers ceiling

Value Hunting

Focus on under-backed horses:
Track C Race, 120 seconds in:
  Horse #6: 11% prob, 5% of pool → Value: 2.2
  Horse #8: 9% prob, 3% of pool → Value: 3.0

Enter 60% on Horse #6, 40% on Horse #8
Outcome:
  • High expected value
  • Requires pool analysis skills
  • Higher variance

Favorite Focus (Jackpot Strategy)

Always back the top 2 horses:
Every race:
Enter 70% on highest probability horse
  Enter 30% on second highest

Goal: Maximize 1st place wins for jackpot opportunities
Outcome:
  • High hit rate
  • Lower per-race ROI
  • Accumulates HORSE tokens
  • Better jackpot equity

Mistakes to Avoid

Mistake: Submitting entries in the final 10 secondsRisk: Network delays could cause the entry to arrive after closeSolution: Submit at least 15 seconds before close
Mistake: Only looking at win probabilitiesRisk: Missing value opportunities and over-committing to favoritesSolution: Always check pool distribution, calculate value scores
Mistake: Risking >20% of capital on a single raceRisk: One loss significantly damages capitalSolution: Use a fixed percentage of your balance (1-5%) per race
Mistake: Doubling entry sizes after a losing runRisk: Rapid capital depletionSolution: Stick to predetermined entry sizes regardless of results
Mistake: No record of entries and outcomesRisk: Cannot analyze performance or improve strategySolution: Use built-in entry history or maintain external spreadsheet
